The SCEA des Collines consists of a multi-purpose stable 15 minutes from Senonnes. The establishment sonsists of stables, paddocks and pastures where the offspring of Jacques Cherel's broodmares grow up. These are accompanied by foals purchased across France, mainly colts and all destined for the jumping discipline for owners Ballymore Stud. The yearlings and two and three year olds are raised in groups of 15 - 20 individuals in each field.

All the horses bred, bought and prepared by Jacques Cherel for the Irish stable Ballymore Stud are for sale at any time. They are pre-trained on site by a team lead by former jump jockey Erwan Riou and sent to local trainers such as Serge Foucher, Adrien Lacombe, Pascal Journiac and Jérôme Follain for their racing careers.
