The eldest daugher of Bernard Cyprès, so the sister of Jacques and Thierry, Michèle Juhen-Cyprès first made her name as an amateur jockey. After winning numerous races, alongside her pharmacy studies, breeding was the logical next step.
Michèle Juhen-Cyprès is based at Cercy-la-Tour, on 100 hectares reserved for horses. She is at the heart of the most active AQPS-breeding region as she is neighbour to the Cercy National Stud which housed leading sires such as Laniste, Verd, Pas de Quatre and Vidéo Rock.
Michèle Juhen-Cyprès founded her breeding operation on four family bloodlines, that of Onde Courte and of Upsala III which produced champions Nupsala, Ucello II and Tivoli, Eureka III, a sister of Ginetta II, and finally Leuconea, a sister to Italic.
