Services and fees
The technical centre of Lion d'Angers is ideally located at the hear of the Isle Briand and belongs to the regional council of the Maine et Loire. Gaël Marionneau and his team assist breeders throughout the preparation and covering of mares to the moment they give birth.
Mares can be accommodated under lights from the month of December in order to ensure she comes into season in January or February.
Mares which are covered by our thoroughbred sires (Khalkevi, Network or Roman Saddle) can return to the technical centre to foal in the best possible surroundings. Surveillance is assured via a technically advanced alarm system, colostrum is tested and in the event of insufficient colostrum, the centre has a supply of natural colostrum. The follow-up continues with identification of the foal and validation of his passport.
