Stallion swap : Namid to Faunes, Muhaymin to Hoguenet
Following Maxime Jarlan's idea, co-owner of the two horses, the stallions Namid and Muhaymin will meet on the road between Lisieux and Bordeaux for next season. The first horse will be based at Haras des Faunes with Alain Chopard swapping with Muhaymin who will take over from him at Haras du Hoguenet in Normandy. Son of AP Indy out of the champion mare Shadayid, far from being a champion himself, the chestnut Muhaymin was found by Emilie and Alain Chopard. Bought in USA, he retired to stud at Haras des Faunes in 2007 and despite a small progeny, he was able to stand out as one of the revelations among young sires, particularly thanks to the good "black-type" fillies Action Chope and Skallet.

After 5 breeding seasons in the south-west, Muhaymin will go up to Normandy with Anthony Baudouin at Haras du Hoguenet. In exchange, Namid will go the other way, 2 years after his importation to France in 2010. Champion sprinter for his trainer John Oxx, Namid won the Prix de l'Abbaye de Longchamp (Gr.1) in 2000. Among this son of Indian Ridge's black-type progeny, Total Gallery did the exact same as his dad and took the Prix de l'Abbaye de Longchamp. Covering fees are not set up yet.
