Super Banco for Rescato and Maresca Sorrento

Sire of Rescato de l'Oust, Maresca Sorrento is thus well alive and dashing at the Haras de la Rousseliere. David Windrif's residant has him offered a farrier's stick. Maresca Sorrento is 15 in 2010, but his first products were only born in 2003. Not that he had a long career, but he had stayed in stand-by before starting stud duties. Although his conformation is imposing with his 16.3 1/2hh, Maresca Sorrento indeed proved very precocious. He landed two impressive successes in April and September when he was 3 at Auteuil. Undoubtedly a bit too early for this weight. Suffering from a tendon injury, he's been repaired, as it happens to so many other jump horses. But the difference was that he was still an ungelded colt, obviously as we wouldn't otherwise speak about him here...
As a consequence, his conformation hasn't gone lighter, quite the contrary, and in spite of the wait he was not able to get back into training, under his breeder Mr Bianco's silks. Pierre de la Guillonnière had spotted this horse a while ago and hasn't hesitated when he was looking for a reconversion.
